Hey guys just installed injen intake and ordered headers.Lowered it with B&G 1.75 springs and now lookin at nitrous.Ive been reading the FAQ and noticed the 17" injectors are good to around 200-210 crank horsepower.Well having a stock 2.5L then im around 170hp and adding Nitrous with 75 shot ill be about 250 with intake and headers. So do I need to upgrade to 19" injectors?Im getting confused lol and im lookin at the venom wet 75hp shot kit.Ive been reading other posts about chips and dyno tunes. What do I need to do this right?IM guessing a chip installation and the injectors?Im on the coast of washington state about 2 hrs from seattle but i know of one dyno shop here but in a small town im kinda wanting to go to a more known shop.So hey anyway help me out guys...thx

I'm running the wet ZEX kit with the 75 nozzle never had a problem. I'm also running an aftermarket exhaust and a custom intake.

A "wet" shot adds the extra fuel needed for 55, 65, 75...shots.
If your '99 Cougar is return-style, you can use the dry kit (MUCH easier install). The dry kit splices the vacuum signal to your FPR for increased fuel flow while spraying.
With an ATX, you need the world's biggest trans cooler on there to keep the transmission from grenading under repeated use. Not really, but you need a good one. Like this (http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?Ntt=BMM-70255+&searchinresults=false&Ntk=KeywordSearch&DDS=1&N=115&target=egnsearch.asp&x=37&y=5)...
There was a guy on the boards that had a 55 dry shot with a cooled ATX, and it ran flawlessly for years. You may want the wet shot, but in either case, a dyno tune and chip are ALWAYS recommended.

Thx for all the help guys as i was looking at running a 75 hp shot.I purchased and installed injen intake and will be posting pics as i installed b&G 1.75 drop springs. Now im thinking I should install headers before i install nitrous to make sure the engine is breathing well intake and exhaust-wise.Is there any differnce in what type of power you get with wet and dry?I ordered the cooler and will install as soon as i get it.Not a bad investment for a tranny and thx for the help. With the 75 shot im hoping and guessing to be around 250 hp or so with intake, headers and nitrous.Im lookin online now for a dyno shop in the area but being on the coast of washington there isnt much here at all.I think ill be driving to seattle to get that done.Do you know a round about price for chip and install?Im trying to save for a paint job also so not wanting to spend a ton but any ideas on how much....thx again cant wait for ....POWER lol..

You won't need a fancy-shmancy paint job when your car is a road rocket on juice. Chip should be around $350, dyno tuning will run ya a couple hundred bucks. Twil be worth it though.

HELLS YA lol....stoked...waiting on headers to arrive and get them installed. Then im confused lol as dont i need to install 19pd injectors? As the stock 17 only are good to around 210 hp?Need help on this so i can order them plz...ordered the dry kit per danG and going with 75 hp shot.Planning on the window switch to be around 3000-6000rpm and thinking of buying the remote bottle turn on as in washington state...its illegal to drive around with the bottle open.So if i want to play just hit the button and if i get pulled over lol then hit it again.Anyone have any pic where the put the purge and on/off switches?THx again im so freakin stoked...
