ok i raced a friend to night on a sucluded road he has a 90-96 gmc regular cab step side truck i think it was a v6, standard with a exhaust of somekind and i have a stock 99 cougar sport package.
well i murdered him, i thought it would have been a little closer :shrug:
but it wasn't

thanx he said he was having trouble accelerating after the but didnt know what it was so we might race again sometime

people you race always say stuff like that if they lose,"oh, i missed a shift" or "i thought i saw a cop" but good job :)

i mean i know they have big engines, but your have a car correct?

Ha, I saw a twin turbo ford diesel spank the hell out of a chevy z71 last night. it was awesome. it sounded crazy comin down the road.

most of my friends have trucks and the people with cars usaully dont race but there is a guy at my school with a newer 90's v6 mtx 3000gt that might race me

My tahoe would probably give my cougar a good run up to 70 or so...
But the cougar is so much cooler.. ;)

if the tahoe is a fast as the ford expedition then no it wouldnt give u a good run.
i raced the same guy in his moms ford expedition and he was at my door right after "go" and after that he was about 1/2 or a full cars length apart i think(it was dark)

yea, my parents have one. It pulls kinda hard considering all the weight it has to lug around, but it's not quick or fast by any means. The eddie bower package can't help the weight issue any, either hahaha. Something about 12mpg that you gotta love :crazy: Especially for people who don't NEED SUV's (most people)... But, I won't deny that they are big pimpin' when lowered with 22"+ chrome and all the jazz :tongue:
