Last night on my way back home, i came across Red Honda accord v6. By chance i noticed the guy driving it while lighting my death stick at the traffic light. He was looking over at me. I was thinking wtf, i hate people starring me down it causes fights all the time.
Then i heard his car rev, and it clicked this guy wants to race. Now i' don't street race much. Since i had yet to race my new couger i thought this would be a perfect opportunity for me to see how it does against another v6 in it's class.
Anyways i was trying to put my car lighter back when the light changed so i missed the launch. He took off. i punched it when he was two or three car lengths in front and i was starting to pull up to him , when we came to another red light. This time i revved a little to let him know it was on. I revved it to about 2 grand, took a dragg of my smoke. The light changed and we both gunned it. My tires chirped a little and we where side by side. Then i shifted to second and started pulling ahead when he shifted he came back beside me. When i got it to third my car started putting half a car on him, by forth it was a full car and then two cars. In fifth i was about 4 cars in infront. when i let off. He caught up comming to a curve and tried passing me so i dropped it to 4th and gunned it out of the curve he just couldn't keep up.
Later we came to another red light he rolled down his window and asked me to pull over. He wanted to check out my car. Well i checked his out.he had an intake in there and was surprised i beat him bone stock. I reminded him intake doesn't add noticable horses. He tried to argue and said i probally had a chip on mine. LOL !!
Well needless to say these two cars his was a 98 or 99 it's a drivers race. I don't race much but can't refuse a race between two equally matched cars. Btw i was smoking and tossed it out when i let off going into the curve... when i checked out the other guys car my smoke butt was caught in his wiper blade LOL :evil:
