Brad told me to post this after we talked.
Last year there were presentations on Forced Induction, Electronics and (something i missed) and parking lot CAI installs.
After putting in a short shifter last Sunday, I thought that might be a good how-to presentation, and maybe install demo. What do all you think?
What other presentations or demos would you like to see?

Besides the formal how-to's, how would people feel about signing up as "experts" in various topics? Then we could let other users come and bug you with questions about your area of expertise.
Also, I'm trying to put together a presentation on how to get sponsored -- something that most people seem to have little idea about.

I won't be there, but here's some basic things I think people would be interested in:
Fiberglass - how-to fab something from scratch
LED - basic stuff like changing out the green button LEDs or more intermediate/advanced stuff like adding LED where there wasn't any before or doing the trip computer buttons, headlight knob & hvac
Eclipse fuel door install
Claybar demo (is there anyone who hasn't yet used it? :))
IACV mod
don't know... maybe the people who take the time to drive to Indy already know how or did these

My painter might be coming again this year for a bit, so he might be open to doing fiberglass/paint-prep info sessions, if anyone is interested.

 The funny part is, I didn't become a search Nazi until a certain new member decided the rules didn't apply to him and he could just keep asking the same question, over and over again, until her got an answer satisfactory to him, regardless of if it was right or not.

I'll do an encore performance of my electronics tutorial again plus a live install demo of one of my headlight flasher circuits.
I agree that this year we should have a day scheduled of more hands-on events so people can witness mods getting done.

i agree with the fiberglass demo. that seems like a good idea. also i think that a demo/how-to lecture on coilovers and other suspension installation would be helpful to many people.

I think I'll focus my How-to more on LEDs this years since so many people are doing them. If anyone wants to bring in some switches, buttons, whatever, I could do one or two as apart of the demo. No, I'm not gonna sit there all day and mod everyone's parts! I just want one or two to demo it.
