Hey all.....
I just put white-faced gauges in my cougar and they look great, but I can't seem to get the speedometer working accurately. I have been setting the speed while doing a speed of roughly 50 km/hour... is it necessary to do highway speeds to get an accurate reading? thanks!!

The speed you are going does not matter as long as when you stick the needle on you set it correctly. (I did mine at 35 mph). The only reason it is recommended to do it on a highway is so it is easier to keep a constant speed. On a side not, make sure your needle is not touching you overlay at any point. I would recommend after you think you have it set correctly, unplug your cluster and plug it back it so you can watch the sweep to make sure it is not touching anything. If it is you needle is pushed in too far or you need to secure your overlay better.

I found it easier to remove the little black thing sticking out of the guages and setting the needle pointing at the top of left corner. After that i turn me car on in diganostic mode and see if it was set right. that way Im not trying to hold the steering wheel while trying to set it

hey I have nothing concerning this, I just noticed you said KM so I figured maybe Canada and it says BC on your thing! Where in BC? I'm in Surrey/Delta!
Oh and welcome!
