What's goin on everyone, I'm kind of a Noob when it comes to postin' here.
But I was wondering if anyone from PA, NJ, NY,DE, MD or VA would wanna talk about plans for bringing a Cougarfest to the east coast. I'm not trying to rival the original cougarfest, but as i was reading alot of Keystone NECO members are having a hard time coming up with the funds to go to Indiannapolis this year, like myself. And I was just trying to devise a plan for all the people on the east coast that would want to bring an eccentric group of people together for a weekend and just have some fun. If anyone is interested or has any ideas, post away. I look forward to hearing what everyone has to say.

"boycotting" Fest is prolly not a good idea. Keystone alone has several meets a year, more often in the summer. Alot of times we travel to other states or others come and visit us. Check out the post entitled feb 19th... We're having a meet here in Harrisburg. Keep checkin these boards for more info on other meets.
Where are you from?

There is also 'Cougarbash', which used to be held in Florida, was then talked about moving to Atlanta but was never planned, and now may take place in North Carolina.

I think being that we have a "Keystone Frat" so we say with our home being Dales, :) I think we whould have a "rush" meet sometime this spring when it gets nice. Just a big party, like our normal meets only with more drinking and food. An all nighter if you will :)

I was thinking the same thing. Before All Ford Nationals, that way we have a chance to do some modding if need be and we need a hand...me of course being one of them :) But that sounds good to me. Maybe like beginning of May??

Glow - thank you for the idea, but as mentioned above there are a few other larger meets throughout the year.
Dale mentioned about having something all weekend long at this house sometime this summer. Ford Nats might be a great weekend to do that.

My intent was never to bash cougarfest, but like I said in my original post. I was just thinking of a way to get people together in pennsylvania and other surrounding states, not for a car show or anything like that. More or less, just a place to hang out and see what kind of mods everyone has done to their cougars, and more important of all just a place where people are enthusiastic about the same thing as you and are willing to help you if you need it. Don't get me wrong I have read most of the threads in the keystone section, but i was just wondering if anyone would like to be a part of it, or had any ideas. Like I said though, i'm not trying to bash cougarfest or even compete with it, I was just wondering if anyone would like to plan maybe a chapter meet and greet or something of that nature.

eric your always welcome, but only in the back door :puke: Dale paving his back yard=Sweet.
Noob, i dont think anyone took it as you bashing fest, so your all good. You bring up a great point about getting a big meet together though. Every year we talk about it and it never happens. Its great to see your coming to the dinner, we'll show you a good time. Maybe we can discss this meet there too.

I used to live in Middleburg and have been in Mt. Pleasant Mills many times. :) I'm going to be in that area this spring with my motorhome visiting some friends, but I probably won't bring the Cougar.
