Has anyone around here done that? My body shop says you have to remove the whole bumper to replace it. Is that true? And how is it held on? I'd like to replace it sometime soon. The plastic grille has a decent sized hole in it and it looks hideous.

Are we talking the top grill near the hood or the bottom black grill(s)? I know, stupid question. When I installed my tranny cooler to the bottom black grill on the drivers side it looked like they just snapped in there, removing the bumper would be a conveinence but not necessary, I also no longer have the black plastic cover that shields the bottom of the rad and such. Just my observation, but I'm not really qualified to make body work decisions. Get under there and check it out.

the top grille screws in and the bottom snap in. either way they are an easy install. i had both done by myself.

reomiving the bumper makes it ten times easier, but it do-able either way. Ill give ya a hand if you need one.
