Muncie, IN dragstrip

I have found an alternate dragstrip possibility in Muncie, IN. Mapquest pegs it at 65 miles away, so it's not exactly nearby. The upside is, we would not have to pay track rental fees if we went during the Midnight Madness event they are having from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8, just the normal track entry fees.

It could be pretty cool to have a pack of Cougars descend upon the dragstrip and show the local yokels that we can ball.

So, who would be in?

This sounds awesome to me. I'm driving 2000 miles one way to get there, I don't think 60 miles to the drag strip would kill me. Consider my vote changed for the other thread about date as well.

the muncie strip is in the middle of BFE. its hard enough deeping people together for a local cruise let a lone one to another city. i went to college in muncie, not a whole lot going on there

we would want to goto the track after we all get dyno tuned....then its on like donkey kong



we would know what the cars are producing and now we can see if the drivers can drive them....lol better start practicing

Tune and then the drags, man that'd be a nice weekend. I'm down for it, I'm just staying a good distance back from the person in front of me this year. :P

and personally, i think the drive to and from the strip will be just as much fun as the drag strip :)

Wouldn't it be a statement to see you and DanG lined up next to each other with your now beautifully running Cougars and lay down a pair of 12's right out of the gate? :evil:

The more that go to watch, the better, it would still be a great place to socialize and check out some non-Cougar rides as well.
