Putting on a remote mounted turbo this summer with starting at 5 psi until i feel like upgrading the rest of the engine. Once i get it in im for sure, getting a new clutch, flywheel, cams, heads, SVT UIM, LIM, TB, etc..
cant wait.
oh and the setup is only gonna cost me 4000

If he gets a turbo I'll piss in his ear.....deal?
Why the hell would you put those other engine mods on AFTER you
get the turdblow in? Do it before that way as soon as the turbo is on
you can tune.

do you know how many people come across here and say they are gonna do somethiong and it never happens? ive lost count.
No need to be rude man, just prove me wrong.....that'll be better than any names you can ever call me:rolleyes:
With a job and school it took me a year to build my own kit in my garage with no help of a shop. just from a couple super cool peeps on the internet.
i hope youve done a lot of homework, because you are going to deal with a ton more problems in fabrication by having a turbo back there. extending the maf wiring, IAT wiring, oil lines, an oil pump, just to name a few. do you have an ATX? i can understand wanting a remote turbo, but after all ive been through with putting the turbo in a easy location, i cant even imagine what its gonna be like to have a turbo way in the back. it hurts my head to even design something like that.
Good luck and more power to you, but if you have a manual.....just put it in the "traditional" spot, youll have a lot less headaches.
But prove me wrong, i'd love to see it done.

Your getting the idea. We all crack on eachother and even more so when a new person comes on and says "i am going to do X in the next 3 months". We have seen this over and over again. It Rarely happens without specifics and pictures and birth certificate posted. So for now you have doubters and will have them until you are done so just sit back and smile and dont worry about it. :)

Why don't you toss out some specs of what you're getting...or what comes in this "turbo kit"
What type of tuning you gonna utilize?
Most people doubt others cause they don't know...and who would spend $4k+ and not even know basically what their getting.
Plus I'm interested on what's being included? Piping? Header? IC? Turbo? Fuel system? Tuning? hoses? Nuts, bolts, gaskets, etc?

its a greddy turbo based remote system basically standard for STS. im starting out with the 5 psi basic kit. myself and the place that im going to have it done at haven't coordinated the exact setup but i kno thats its greddy thats supplying the turbo. running methanol 50/50 for cooling then later adding a water intercooler
