Can you guys explain to me each stage and what each part does? (if you are bored)

If you look at the parts listing it will show you what is included. The difference between the stage two and three is more then likely the clutch material. For specific differences you might want to contact them as the power it can hold as well as the shift speed might be different.

From when I contacted Level 10 many years ago they told me that the stage 3 kit is good for 650 ft lbs. No one has really tested the CD4E so that claim is up for debate. However, there was a member on here that had a full upgrade from them and didn't have the greatest time dealing with them. That CD4E didn't last very long either, although they described the shifts as breaking your neck quick. That is something you might want to think about as it will take a lot of the around town comfort away. Unless you like getting whiplash everytime you shift . A tranny cooler is an absolute must, hell even a stock cougar can benefit from a good cooler and running synthetic fluid.

Anything else just ask.

yeah $5k in level 10 tranny work and no tranny cooler = death of atx in 26k miles.

Yes Level Ten kits are for automatics. The price to install is going to be shop dependant. Your looking at a lot of labor though. If you can remove the tranny yourself that would cut the cost down A LOT.

Exactly GMK, I never quite understood how someone can spend that kinda money and overlook the simplest thing. Even the one guy that put in a higher stall TC and no cooler. Crispy crunchy clutches are going to follow, guaranteed.
