How much will it affect the system if the bottle sits stright up and down?
Is George really banned?

lol No im not. You should position the bottle according to what the manual says from the company. However, technically most modern bottles have a siphon that should be able to get most of the contents of the bottle efficiently no matter what position.

I take it you're doing this for looks?
You can position it standing up. It would be fine when the bottle is full and primed to the right PSI. Once the bottle starts going empty, you will run into problems. Imagine if you were in the middle of a run and the nitrous doesn't go into the syphon for a second, you'd be shooting tons of extra gas into your TB and IM this could = big boom and you might "blow the welds on your intake manifold!"
So, you'd always want to make sure it stays full, but this is going to be a waste of money. Shops can't just "top off" a bottle. Once you got to about half a tank, you would have to let all the N2O out (~$20 loss).

usually extra gas and no nitrous will just make black smoke come out of the tailpipes and lose you some horsepower but cause no real problems. May want to clean your plugs though

Yeah extra fuel isnt a good thing all the time. but doesnt to real damage. Just nitrous without the proper fuel....now there's a problem

Yes they can. The place where i get my bottled filled does it to mine all the time. And he only charges $3 a poound. He only charges me for how much it uses to fill the bottle which is usually around $25 bucks cause there is not really a way to USE all the nitrous in your bottle. If there is 2lbs. or less the pressure will not be able to get high enough for you to safely spray.
Also i can say that all fuel will not cause a backfire by itself. If the car is not "bogging"(at a really low rpm) it will do nothing but make the car feel really slow. and poor out black smoke. I did it once by accident...i was going back to my house and wanted to "hit it one more time" so i did...but i forgot i had alreayd turned the bottle off. So when i went WOT i almost hit my face on the steering wheel cause i was expecting a pull back in my seat not a face forward situation! lol

yeah all the shops around here fill your bottles no matter what! Empty, full, 1/2 full, whatever. All they did is make the tank(s) cold and fill it up with more nitrous.

Just to clarify what occurs when you constantly "top off" a bottle. After a certain # of times your going to wind up with old nitrous sitting in the tank mixing with new good nitrous. The shop I used to use refused to top off bottles. Theye didn't want to be held responsible for this happening. I would also weigh my NX bottle just filled and compared it once to my buddies who's shop "toped off" his NX bottle. I had about a half pound more of nitrous in mine. Also "toping off: can lead to more gas being present in your tank instead of pure liquid. This can especially bothersome if you don't have a purging system.

Not without posting in Neco Lounge about how people with 3.0liters sue owners with 2.5's, then going into the 3L Section and asking around if anyone with a magnaflow has ever sued a person with a flowmaster and seeing if it would make a difference if you had cams or not. Then youd post in Garage talk about if ADC can help you, and where the local lawyers offices are in your area.

Comeon...think about it...why do you think they won't fill a half-empty bottle?
CAUSE THEY WANT MORE MONEY! Why would they fill your half-empty bottle when they can tell you to drain the rest of the "used nitrous" and say you need "fresh nitrous"? lol
They are just trying to make money.

Gauges for what? Measuring how much nitrous is left in a bottle? They dont. Only way to tell is weight. A full nitrous bottle should weigh around 20ish pounds IIRC. Empty weighs 10. So do the math and you can figure how about is left in the bottle.

Oh, used to play a drag racin game online and it had a gauge for it. My bad. And yes, I realize it was a game but everything else matched up

Lol George. Too funny. You really are quite an evil mexican.

Ok. Glad you corrected that. I think he had it vice versa, no more gas and all nitrous is equivalent to boom chicky boom boom. Running a bit rich is safer then ever running lean on nitrous.

I'm sorry Nafunu32 but the questions you've been asking lately a retard could answer for you. I'm with george on this 100%. Before you ask a question man just use the search buttom or go to google and type it in!!! It's not that hard honestly.
Typed in Nitrous gauge in the search and got 5 pages worth. DO RESEARCH B4 ASKING!!!

lol, the game was on nitto's website... I figured since they make drag tires that their drag game was accurate. It was a simple question... it really wasn't that funny. And how would a retard know anything about a nitrous gauge? They prolly cant even say nitrous.
So ignore the statement of a game, who cares...

Simply think before you type and honest to god research, like, spend at LEAST 15 minutes searching for information. You should end up with more information and maybe a bit more respect. Your doing it to yourself.
