*Can I get a sticky up in this piece? Yes :)
Looks like the plan is February 11th/12th in Columbus. Would you all like to make some suggestions on what to do? Just hanging out with you all is fun enough for me. The following has been brought up...
- Comedy club in Easton
- Watching Final Wars
- Eating at El Vaquero
- Magic Mountain indoor activities
I'll have to double check with Slade, but we'll probably stay the nite. For the rest of the northerners, we like to stay at this joint (http://www.travelodge.com/Travelodge/control/Booking/property_info?propertyId=04177&brandInfo=TL). It's like 3 miles south of Polaris Parkway, the people are really nice, it's cheap and clean, and they of course take dogs (Mike and Brooke feel free to bring your girl as Paco likes to meet friends.)

I will be at my new place in Grove City, on the south side of Columbus by then, so if anyone wants to crash on my sofa that's cool with me.

I have a spare room as well, with a full-size futon.
Video games at Magic Mountain sounds pretty fun. Or we could just jam on Playstation. I have DDR with a floor mat controller, and Need For Speed: Most Wanted.

DDR .......I happen to know a certain someone on here is a pro at that .....not telling who but he drives a red cougar
Sounds like a plan.
Paco like cats? I got my Delilah and she likes to travel. (not really)
Maybe I can get my dog Jacob from my mom.

I hate to be a downer, but could we leave any cats at home. I am super allergic to them.

Anyway, is it both days or a specific day. I still need to request the day off.
Also word of warning. If you are staying at that hotel, DO NOT GO TO THAT WAFFLEHOUSE!!!! Those *****es ripped me and my dad off.
silverkat
01-26-2006, 02:58 PM
I don't know about cats. He's never been around any, but Slade is super allergic too.
That Waffle House looks soooo tiny we've never gone in. Now I really won't go there.
Note: There is adult entertaiment :naughty: right next door too, but we haven't been there either.
Tygerr
01-26-2006, 03:24 PM
Lol. tis true. That area just looks kinda dirty though
Oh! There's an all night bowl in the area. Bowling Palace or something, not very expensive a game either.

If we bring Kasey where will she stay while we go out? The room I don't
want her to destroy it. She gets pissed off if we leave her somewhere
strange. if we're there she's cool or if we leave her at our house it's cool.
We might just leave her at home. I thought it was just a day thing too I
didn't know most of you stayed in town overnight. Anyway I'll figure out
what we're going to do.
Chris dirty area like take the rims off my new Altima?
yes I'm very paranoid my stuff's been stolen plenty of times.:(

01-31-2006, 04:29 PM

Do we know what's going on? Brooke and I will probably
drive back late that night. I don't think we'll stay.

silverkat
02-02-2006, 08:30 AM
Probably Saturday huh? If you have to work Saturday, we could probably do a late dinner? But um, since I live in CLEVELAND, one of you southerners are going to have to find a bowling alley.
Dunno if I will be able to make it cause I dont have time or a place to wash the cougar and I'd be embarrased to show up with how dirty she is and school and work are picking up.
(like you guys will care) I'll let you know next week.

EVENT IDEA!!!!!
I just found out the OHIO ROLLERGIRLS (http://www.ohiorollergirls.com/) are appearing live at Little Brother's in the Short North, doing "Full-contact Musical Chairs" with live music.
I know it's a little out there, and probably not to everybody's taste, but dude - I TOTALLY want to go. My buddy Ian's band is playing, that night, too. So if anybody's staying over in Columbus and wants to go see the RollerGirls, we'll do it BIG TIME, NECO-STYLE.
silverkat
02-06-2006, 11:54 AM
Looks like this meet happens this weekend? Do we want to make some set plans? I"m down with Roller Girls and/or bowling.
B3NN3TT
02-06-2006, 11:58 AM
Rollergirls won't start until at least 9pm, so we'll have to have afternoon meet plans for everyone who's NOT staying overnight.
Bowling is cool wiht me, too.

Dont know if we can make it.......grandma has been is hospital almost a week now, and things are kinda up in the air....so if i come it would be totally last minute dependeing on how things go this week.
P.s. My Sarah says she could be a rollergirl
LinkMan
02-07-2006, 11:20 AM
Sorry to hear about your Grandma, George. Good luck. I hope things work out well so you're able to make it down for the meet. And I can totally see Sarah as a RollerGirl ;) :)
I'd be down for bowling and "full contact" musical chairs. Also to throw something else out there, the Destroyers are in town that night at Nationwide, so if you're interested in arena football, that's a possibility. Tickets are as cheap as $9 for upper bowl seats.

Yo man, don't be worrying too much. Once you get down here you'll have a bit more cash flow, if you know what I mean ;)
Should we meet at like noon-ish, and do lunch as a group?
Who can make it at Noon? Should the locals get together at Noon-ish or One-ish for lunch, and then be able to meet up with the Northerners at say Two-and-a-Half-ish, or Three-ish to start the festivities, and keep everyone kind of on the same dinner schedule?
What say you Northerners, what time do you see yourselves hitting C-Bus?
B3NN3TT
02-07-2006, 08:17 PM
Yeah, I know if I was driving to Cleveland and back, I'd want to start around noon; just so it didn't feel like I drove down and back in a rush. I'd say Mike and the other northerners (and Southerners, for that matter) could probably make a noon lunch date, and we could catch everyone else whenever they can make it.

We could meet at the Polaris Quaker Steak. We met there for lunch last time we had a meet, and it worked well. It's right at I-71 and Polaris Parkway, can't miss it.
Does anybody else have an opinion on a lunch venue?
Polaris has everything; even is we don't want to do Quaker Steak, we could just meet there and go somewhere else.

02-08-2006, 01:56 PM
That sounds good to me Andy. So is that cool with everyone to meet at
Polaris Quaker Steak? Around noon then?

The second wave of Northerners, where should we meet them? Sled & Silverkat, I think you're in charge of the second wave ;) so what's a good time for you?
I honestly have no idea. I would dare to guess 3pm? I figure on the road by 1 (so Diane, read that as 12:30 ;) )
Mark/Andy; I know this probably isnt really your thing but are there any gun shops that you know of near y'all? Im looking for something specific but the places up here are out of their freaking minds on price.

Cool guns! I just got a high point 9mm assualt rifle with flash surpressor
and long distance laser for Christmas. I'm dead accurate with it.
Anyway thanks for the info Mark and Andy we'll be there.
Anyone else driving down with us???

The only one that comes to mind without searching is Vance's. Googling for an address gives: 3723 Cleveland Ave, Columbus, OH 43224-3614 [ (614) 471-7353 ]

Do you still have that door from the wrecked coug? If so, i'll come out and pick it up. But if not, i'll have to pass as it's a bit out of the way.
silverkat
02-09-2006, 01:58 PM
I don't know any details, but I have a passenger side door I could bring down.
gyger
02-09-2006, 03:13 PM
Yes I still have the door but neither you or Aaron ever came out
so I figured you no longer needed or wanted it since it's been over
a year since I got the car. Jamie asked if he could have the motor
to replace his dead window motor in his coug before he sells it.
I told him yes.
I think I'm gonna keep the door though. Do you need it?
Pyro81
02-09-2006, 03:50 PM
I don't need the door itself. I just need the wiring harness and the latch.
Thanks for the offer, Diane, but i need stuff specifically from the driver's side door.
Sweet Mike! I was hoping I wasnt the only gun guy on here. Thanks Mark and Andy; if they are close i might stop by but no real biggie. Lookin for a good price on a Taurus 24/7 .45ACP in stainless (blued would be ok too actually) The shop up here is out of their minds and want $100 more than what others have paid for the same gun.

Brian
Unconfirmed:
George & Sarah
Chris
