Lots of people use them for bike racks. I guess some people excercise for fun.

You CAN tow w/ the cougar. You can get it installed at the dealer, and our manuals have special towing instructions. So, I guess it's not THAT bad. Though it probalbly looks funky.
I wouldn't mind having a hinged license plate to hide the hitch, LOL!

My dad hauled his mule with his S-10 and makeshift racks built from 2x4s. He's the brand inspector too! I think that mule doubled the weight of that pickup.

I had a friend that used to tow his jetski with his Firechicken. It actually looked kinda cool to see the jetski behind the car.

When I was in my 20s I had a Hillman Husky that I put a trailer hitch on. I would be surprised if any of you guys would know what that car is. It was an English 2-dr station wagon that was smaller than a VW Beetle. It had a small 4 cylinder engine with a four speed transmission and 1st gear was very low. I had tall wide tires on the rear for good traction.
I use to rent a trailer longer than the car. I towed it up the mountains, take it off-road and fill the trailer with about 1.5 cords of wood and cruise back down the mountain. I got some unusual looks but I had a blast doing it. I did it many times without a problem and without being an obstacle in the road.
It is amazing what they would allow to tow the rental trailers back then. Now the would just laugh at me and tell me to go away.

My dad used to tow our jetskis with his 95 Mustang GT, till some moron rear ended us.
