yea... but is he selling it with the cd changer doesn't look like it ...
Yea massive i'd rather just buy that strip but i understand why junk yards and yourself probally wont sell it to me, because the radio is useless without it. Rennie might be able to sell it to me but i'd have to drive to where he lives.
This is shocking to me :I asked ford and according to them they can't order that part. The guy said for the factory radio brand new it's 1 grand or 1 thousand dollars and i laughed untill i puked.... considering good aftermarket one's are 200 bucks LOL
Ima see if house cat can order it for me.
Thanks guys.. oh and i messaged the guy selling those on ebay to ask if he has it for my radio and no reply as of yet

No it's a cassette player and a CD Changer controller. Do you have the stock CD Changer in the trunk?

So why not just install an aftermarket one? It will be 10 times better than the stock one.

I can sell you mine no problem if it fits, i don't mind just selling the strip because my stock cd player doesn't work anyways! ( the radio does, just not the CD player)
I agree with getting an aftermarket one though...it would be WAY better

No cd changer. I think ima sell the car by the summer so i really dont want to put in a aftermarket radio and spend the money only to take it out again. I think i'll keep this car for 4 months and sell it so i get my money invested back .

Who knows i say that now but i' really do like the car it's just that i dont like losing value on cars i buy. I like buying and selling for higher or same price so if i wait too long i might not get my money back out of it . you digg?

The best and only way to get the most value out of a car is to drive it into the ground. Cars are not equity and will never gain value!!! Unless it is a real collecters piece.
The used car market has changed greatly over the last few years. Buying a car and flipping it early is a losing situation almost always. The only time you may profit on a vehicle is if you get it for a real steal and are able to flip it quick.
The days of buying here and selling in the States for a profit are now gone due to the gains the Canadian dollar has made against the US dollar.
Wholesalers are losing their shirts at the auctions now. I know this doesn't apply to you, but it just puts it into perspective.
I worked in the automotive industry for three years and the only way to SAVE any extra loss is to lease new. Manufacturers set up their leases so that the residuals are greatly inflated. That means that the amount you are financing over the term of the lease is far less then if you were to buy and then trade or sell at that time.
I hate to say this, but its the truth. The Coug is a Ford, and Fords are notorious for depreciation. As are all other domestic vehicles.
Really man, keep the car and enjoy it for a while. Sell it after a bit and chalk up the difference in what you paid to what you sell it for as the cost of ownership. It will depreciate less and less as the years go on, so your effective cost will decline over a greater period of time.
Enjoy the car...its a lot of fun. There are not to many like it for what you pay and what you get out of it.
And putting in just a deck is not a hastle to swap if you do decide to sell later on....Its when you get into subs and amps and wiring it all in!!! Trust me on that one!!!

ok .. well i paid $4700 CND 108 000 kms. on auto trader they tend to go for 6500 with higher kms. Avg wholesale is 5125. avg retail 7100 ... i figure even if it needed brakes right off the bat and i knew it before i bought it.. Got the discs and pads changed. If i sell for 6500 ish idealy with kms close to 120 i can atleast pull 6500ish out of it getting my money back. i doubt it will depreciate too much in 4 mnths.
Don't get me wrong it's not that i dont like the car. I just know that around the end of summer i will need that money. Who knows i might still change my mind .
