Should be a easy fix. See my post in your other thread. Get Massiv to cut off the old plugs and use those.

No problem,
It's just a power wire nothing special.

thats what i though initially too, i mean one + one - and one ground right?? It shouldnt be too complicated. I just wasnt sure if i was thinking about this the right way, wanted to ask around first.

Guys, it's only 12V!!! Don't scare the poor girl! It wouldn't be much worse than putting your tongue on a 9V Battery!
Even if you did reverse the polarity, whats going to happen? It won't go boom, your seat will go forward instead of back wards and vice versa! I'm sure she could figure it out. Push forward to go back, push back to go forward. ;)

I'm going to check a wiring diagram on this, as I have a sneaky suspicion that there's more to it than just a power and ground wire. I think you would be wise to get as much of the wiring harness as you can, and go from there.
I would actually be willing to do this for you.
I would probably enjoy it.

Also, is this a 2 way power seat, or a 6 way power seat?

lol...i was only teasing about the voltage...god knows i've done some of the dumbest things a guy can while i've been in school but also in my defence i had no idea thats how the seat was set up....if there were electronic components there then they would fail....but since thats all it does then yes they would just be reversed....i wish i had leather seats :(

Maya....all you need is the connection from the previous car....Seatman had to do the same to mine when he pulled out my 99 powers to replace them with 02 powers. Nothing major, just the connector.

That's why I offered to do it for you.
It's actually a very simple set up. You will need a 30 amp fuse before the switch though. On a lot of vehicles Ford will put the wiring right back to where the seat would plug in, to save money. I'm not sure if this is the case here or not. If not, it will be easier to splice in a 30 amp fuse to the swith, and run a ground for this, rather than installing a whole harness right up to the Fuse box.

sounds good. I'll probably have it late next week sometime if i can arrange a pick up from massiv. What days are you available? i'll even meet up with you, save you a drive to mississauga.

I'm available next week any evening after Tuesday. If you could bring your vehicle over here, I can do it for you. It shouldn't take very long, say....10 mins....

hey just wanted to thank Lance for the work he put in to connect power into my seats. The seats work great, didn't lose any functionality, and thanks to him i can ride in comfort. Awesome job buddy! Thanks again.
