resently my amps been having trouble turning on and today it turned on then just turned off.....i think it may be a switch i have as a kill switch ...at least i hope it is....i pulled over and the speakler wires were not touching so it wasnt that and i didnt smell fried electronics wen i removed the amp so i dont think ( fingers crossed) that its dead ...all the fuses look good.....

so im thinking that maybe a wire came loose on the kill switch or that its completely dead..... its to cold right now to spend hrs troubleshooting it so before i go back out i would love to have more of an idea whats wrong

the amp is still under warranty and i know the shop will replace it no questions asked but if it is something on my end i would love to get it fixed.....any subjestions would be welcomed....

remove the kill switch and see if you still have the problem.

check your amp's voltage and also check the ohms across the outputs...i thinki just toasted my amp cause the outputs are reading 28 ohms  not good when the sub still reads 3.8 ohms..

and like lost racer said..remove the switch and try it..eliminate the variables to come to the solution my friend....

if you dont have them grounded good they will just turn on and off. If your h/u allows it turn your amps off with that. Instead of a kill switch.

thanks everyone for the comments.. i drove home for the w/e and had a look at the wireing and it turns out that the trigger wire from the h/u was fread and was sending multiple hits out...so it would turn the amp on and off randomly...or not turn on at all..... its fixed and runnin fine

thanks again
