ok, so I was takin the silencer out of my maf a few weeks ago, (it's a little grid type thing in the MAF) I broke one of the little prongs on the maf that stick down, so I threw a cel and had to replace it. I bought a used on on ebay, got it today. everything with it looks good and is in place. i unplugged the battery for like 5 minutes after i installed this new one. the first time, no cel, the 2nd time i cranked it up threw the cel again and am having the same symptons when the car is cold as it was with the broken maf. do I need to reset the ecu, then drive around the first time I crank it up b4 it back off or will it make a difference? and if that doesn't make a difference, why would I still be throwin a cel?
