I would try to wire my radar into the fuse box, and buy a splitter.
Use the splitter when you need to charge you cell and use the ipod and put it in the glove when not in use. That way you won't junk up you car w/ wires and still have a rather simple set up.

You could still unplug the radar detector and put it away when not in use. You would just have the wire.
You could run it with a plug in fuse where you could take it out, or put a connection on you wire so you could wire it inside you dash part way to the plug/splice,
I am not an electrician, but you could probably buy one and run it into you consel for your phone charger.
However, if you really wanted three, you could buy two extra and run them into the dead switches by the rear defrost. I you make custom covers it would probably even look nice when not in use, or make a mount behind them where you could take off the originals and put them back on so it would appear stock.

I have a radar dector with a remote sensor on it. My "head unit" is mounted in the gauge cluster and the sensor is behind my grill. And of corse its hard wired.

even if you hard wire it...it is supisingly easy to put a toggle switch on the main power...very easy...on when you want off when you dont i dont see th problem with that...
you could always cut and mount a couple extra outlets right behind the main on on the side of the centre console. most likely very easy if you wanted..i am sure you could even go to a wrecker..pick up a ouple factory ones out of some cars and wire them in..3/4inch hole and flush mount them..easy as pie...you could put them anywhere..if you handy with fiberglass then definately anywhere..
too easy
