Who: Any and all NECO members, past and present, and their friends (the more the merrier) from any part of FL (or the US for that case, if there are any outof towners present)
What: Dinner/Movie Meet
Where: (subject to change based on popular opinion) Rudy Tuesdays, Woodlands Theater (possible Alt Bennigans/AMC Veterans)
When: Feb 24, 7:30pm
Why: to have one hell of a good time.
Let me know if you're coming, and how many are coming with you.
If this is a bad date for a good # off people, it may be rescheduled to allow the best turnout possible.

What movie to go see?? I was at the theatres last night and I saw the preview for "UltraViolet" and might I say, I'd be interested in seeing that movie... the woman is freaking HOT!!! Seeing her ass in those pants is well worth the 7 bucks to get in even if it's not a good movie :biggrin:
Other than the above listed movie, nothing else is good that is to be released
(at least not what I'm looking at). There's Final Destination 3 that would have already been out for 2 weeks (run the chance of people already seeing it, ya know?).
I know, a little ahead of the plans (by a whole month) but I was just giving ya'll the heads up :cool:
Thats the same girl from Resident Evil . I went and Saw Hostel and Underworld (both good ) As far as what we see this time lets try and stay away from the Deminted movies . That Charlie and the Chocalate Factory had me all spaced out . On the other hand If that movie The Hills Have Eyes is out we should see that .
Well Did we ever decide what we are gonna eat ? Also If SLitther is out we should see that It looks like it will be Badass

I'm actually thinking towards the Ruby Tuesdays, I haven't been there in awhile. I go to Bennigans every other week or so.

is there a TGI Fridays? our's closed down in Brandon so with the exception of our honeymoon we haven't ate there in a long time. mmmm oreo madness :)

Try and get a place with good drink specials Like 241 . Alos I dont think Ruby Tuesdays can hold alot of peeps and the one by AMC is always packed . Also when we decide on what to watch we need to make sure we have enough time to eat and see the movie . Last time some of us purchased tickits for 2 diffrent showings and we got split up till the movie was about to start and then people who had got tickits didnt have a place to sit beacuse some of us wernt suppose to be in that showing . Just want things to flow smoothley last time it was hecktic ( but still fun ). Please pick a good place for drinks cause thats what i wanna do .

There's a TGI Fridays about 5 miles from Veterans AMC theater on Anderson. If that's an option. Friday's is piont B, AMC is point A on the map.

I doubt I'll be able to make it on a Friday... I don't get out of work in time to drive up.

Suggestion for a some-time meet: The car museum in Sarasota on US-41. Peg & I ended up there the day the multi-club track meet got rained out and we had fun. Interestingly, the staff member who we talked to a lot used to drive a Probe, but traded it in for.....
a Cougar!! It's the gold Coug that sits out front of that museum (nearly across from Ringling's).
dang I just relized movie day is on a friday ....I get off at 5pm so after sitting in traffic I could make it on time , but Is this gonna be a problem for anyone else?
Im just syain cause TGIF is on Hillsbough and I know traffic is always real bad there cause I drive it everyday , but then agian it will be 7.30 pm wich means we will eat at like 9-9.30 cause of our big group and the movie will be a late movie ......Just thinkin ahead is all , but its all good

damn kendra...you change over to the other side since ive been gone?? you sound a little TOO excited about seeing Milla Jovovich (5th Element, Resident Evil) in tight clothes.....i know im all for that! Final Destination 3 wouldnt be bad either.
I'll see what my plans are that weekend, but may make it.

does TGI's take phone in reservations ie can we call like an hour ahead and put our name on the list for a table to accommodate all of us? if not does anyone live close enough to stop in and put our name on the list, that way it's not that long of a wait.
I think Doug is just have some neco withdrawal but won't really show up, who wants to take bets? lol, just joking, hope you can make it Doug, it's been a while would be cool to catch up and I know James hasn't seen you in years and definitely wants to catch up with you.

Just a suggestion.....You guys seem to be thinking/planning this way too much. Why not just say, "Here's where we're meeting, this is what we're doing, and anyone that wants to come is more then welcome to do so."
If you do that, people will still show. Michelle used to plan meets on a 3 hour notice and people from all over (as far South as Fort Myeres) would show up no problem.

lol, we're lucky to get people to show up late if at all, lately...just think some are so busy that those planning meets have started planning them in advance to give more time...but now that you all are back maybe that'll change hehe....maybe participating in meets just isn't the same without you guys so morale dropped when you both left, lol.

honestly Chris, if I didn't have it scheduled about 2 weeks in advance, I probably couldn't make it. I still might, depending how work and other things went, but I probably would be hard pressed to make it on a few hours notice.

I asked for friday off, but i'm not sure if i'll get it bc they gave me this coming weekend off bc my gf is comin in from wi for us to celebrate valentines day. hopefully i'll get to make it.

well i found out today that my work may be changing my schedule around giving me fridays off, if this happens I might be able to make it afterall
jezzz this is like 2 weeks away .. i dont know why I was thinkin it was still a month away ....its like time is standing still for me.......hmmmm
that movie called DATE MOVIE will be out the weekend we go to the movies . It makes fun of alot of other movies plus it looks really funny so mabey we can see that ?
Any other choices ?

Ultraviolet comes out that day. Looks like a decent action movie (I'm not much for most comedy movies).
well on windows media it says Ultraviolet comes out on Feb24th , but i just saw the preview for it last night like 3 times on tv and it says March 3rd .
