Remember the first (and LAST) time we went to Cinci? :banghead:
Eh- most of you on here now werent around for that super fantastic wonderful trip...

RacerX and I had such a sweet time...the rain, the drive, the stone chips, the almost not getting into Dave and Busters cuz the Cinci guys were underage...ah the memories.

If you all picked Too-lee-doo I would likely show up just to hang with the Ohio crew again :)

Ha ha ha! How could anyone forget that one? That drive sucked! The only way it could have been worse was if it had been longer... oh wait, for you guys it was longer! Once we managed to get into D&B's it wasn't bad, the turnout was pretty good, though the majority came from up North.

I voted C-bus or C-land :)

For those of you who might want some random cougar leftovers I will try to bring some stuff from my dearly departed kitty. Ive still got a stock swaybar that is free- someone take the damn thing. I dont care what you do with it, I just want it outta here. I got a couple other small things that will prolly just be given away too. Front wheel bearing (brand new in box), a merc badge from the rear, spark plug wires (stock), and crap like that.

Looks like Cleveland or Columbus eh? Have we thought of places or things to do ? Maybe each of the two cities could put together a package deal of what the meet could be and then we can decide between the two. Basically- what does each city have to offer that is deserving of a meet?

( I didnt vote for Columbus but any Columbus meet had better include dinner at that mexican joint....mmmmmm, tasty)

WTF? George- what the heck are you doing?! You voted for both cleveland and columbus? So way to go; way to cancel out your own vote. Argh- I could just slap you  I dont care which you vote for but the point in voting is to choose BETWEEN the options not BOTH the options:banghead:

- Im sorry, I still love ya man.

Actually, you only get to vote once, but you are allowed to choose more than one choice on the list when you vote.

That doesn't cancel out a vote dude. It indicates his willingness to travel to either Cleveland or Columbus. So the vote ends up 9 to 6 instead of 5 to 2 or something like that - same city gets more votes and "wins" but the totals give you a better idea of how many will actually be there. At least that was my idea when I voted for two cities.

Looks like the majority is for the 11th and 12th. When do we want to end the location pole?

Cbus is cool. You know Clevelanders travel. Any Columbus people think they could hook us up with maybe some free comedy club tickets for that place in easton mall? I was there a while back and it was great- kinda expensive if we pay full price though...and will everyone in attendance be at least 21? Just a thought. That place isnt real close to the mexican restaurant though is it?

Is crashing Mark's house (Linkman) and watching Godzilla: Final Wars an option? I vote for that one...that would be after mexican dinner naturally...

As long as i can order a steak or burger or a taco at this mexican place i don't care if we eat there. I don't really care for mexican food...

B3NN3TT
01-25-2006, 07:25 PM
Oh, I don't think they have Tacos at the Mexican place.

Slade - are you talking about El Vaquero, where we ate dinner last December? Because if so, I'll level with you, Brian. I did not like Mexican food either until I ate at El Vaquero. It completely redefined Mexican food for me.

Godzilla sounds rad. I would host, but I can only fit about 4 people in my house... so I guess it all depends on the turnout.

Ever since we went there, he has not stopped raving about El Vaquero. It was very good.
Brian, look 'er over (http://www.elvaquerorestaurants.com/menu.pdf) and hope you find something. If you're super against it, we'll go somewhere else. I had the tacos and the salsa and they were great.

:goofy: OMG an actual meet?!

Coolio! I maybe in attendance depends when granpaws surgery to repair his aortic aneurysm. I know its some time after his birthday which is Feb. 6th.

Just maybe I might have the cougar all cleaned up by then and her tail light replaced. :banghead:

Meh, i suppose there's a couple things on that menu i could stand. I suppose it would be boring if we did burger joints every time we got together. So what the hell...i'm in.
Whether or not i need a place to stay depends on how late we're hanging out. Too bad Aaron isn't in town, i could just stay at his new place  So it looks like i might be adding to the list of houses of Ohio NECO members i've slept at, lol
