Interest Check--Subframe Connectors

ok fellas (and ladies) :tongue:

just doing an interest check to see approximately how many people would be interested in a set of subframe connectors. since we know exactly how much these will be, shipped, i ask that people only express interest if they are serious about actually getting a set. (if you think you definitely will).

we still have quite a few left to finish up over on CEG so this is why i am just taking an interest check for now. I plan to get the GB started within the next few weeks. the way i did it on CEG was you send in a $20 non-refundable deposit (to cover materials) and when the sets are ready, people start sending in the balance payments. I may start accepting deposits in about a week or so which will give you about a month to save up the rest ;) and thats for the 1st few sets that get finished. sets will be shipped out in the order the balance payments are received. so if you need more time get the balance together, you can just wait for later sets. so far in about three weeks, the first 12 have been shipped, and 8 more are almost ready. we're actually still waiting for more balance payments to come in. the weather has been bad for welding (we're doing it outdoors) which is why its slowed down a little, but we're trying to crank them out asap.

the set will cost $150 shipped to your door via UPS ground. this will cover the 48 mainland US states and much of Canada. Hawaii is a little different and some farther places in Canada cost a little more. you can email me at svt4stv@gmail.com for a more accurate quote if you live in BFE.

We recently traveled to DeviousDev's home to test fit them on his "cougah" ;) and they fit great. Fastcougar should have/be receiving his set any day now and can hopefully chime in.

these are four positive benefits of adding subframe connectors to your ride
1. they stiffen the chassis up giving you less flex during cornering (better handling)
2. they give you killer jacking points to jack up your ride!
3. you now have underbody rails to run wires through (as in trunk relocation)
4. they help tighten up the body which can help eliminate squeaks on older rides

They don't actually connect to either subframe, so dropping the subframes won't be any different. They are just reinforcing the bottom of the bodyshell.

they dont sit any lower than the body kit (SVT). they arent visible at all. i doubt they would be visible from anywhere but underneath the car, especially if you paint them black.

to put it this way, your stock exhaust is going to bottom out before the connectors.

Its not that, its that they are still finishing with the CEG orders. As soon as that is done, they will take care of NECO. If you have been reading up on this on CEG, this has been an awsome group buy [what I mean is how well its been organized and how quickly they have been able to complete it]

Logan motorsports [dewayne] was going to post them for me... if he doesnt get them up by tomorrow night, I snap a few for myself.

dewayne completely boxed in the connectors for me, so mine will look a bit different than the others.

I've only put on about 50 miles since picking up my car so I dont want to comment quite yet, but I am very very happy with it.
