headlights

ok so I took my headlights out today to change the bulbs. The driver side came out fine and went in fine...the passenger side didn't want to come out but I finally got it, when I went to stick it back in there is a gap on the bottom of the headlight starting about half way in and going to the corner. Its big enough to stick my finger in which is about 2-3 cm and I was wondering why this gap is all of a sudden there?

You dont have it in properly. Take it back out and make sure you have it in all the way and the bottom is clearing the top edge of the front bumper.
