my drivers side window no longer goes down, the light on the switch went out 2, any clues??:banghead:

Switch is bad or the fuse popped.
Get a multimeter and make sure the switch is getting power. If not, then the problem lies somewhere in the wiring or the fuse is bad. If you do get power, then the switch is probably bad.

When this happened to me it turned out to be the big, white relay behind the drivers door. $30 from Ford.

Happened to me, switch just needed to be replaced.

my relay needed replaced...$8 form radio shack....$4 for auto supermart (was a 40amp headlight relay). You will also need 1 sheet metal screw because it mounts different.

Ditto exactly what I used, except we had one laying around from a auto start kit at one of my friends house. I don't have the onetouch down anymore but it was free compared to $40 from Ford.

That is true...no more one touch down, but I also thought it wasn't really worth an extra $35 since I couldn't find it at a junkyard.

it was just the window switch, got new ones from junk yard. problem solved
