I figured since it's Springtime temperatures I'd pop my head out from hibernation.

Some good news for me finally. I got a $2 raise at work! No more Ramen noodles for me, I've upgraded to Bowl Appetite!

In the grand scheme of things it's not a "big" raise tho. Avg pay for a graphic designer w/my experience is $22/hr, I was making $11/hr. Since the design dept. was severely underpaid as is they bumped the starting rate to $12.50 and gave me a .50¢ increase on top of that. So, in a way I only got a .50¢ raise since anyone hired off the street now would be making .50¢ less than me, and I've been there almost 2 years.

I'll be getting my taxes done in early February and, from what I hear, the guy I'm seeing really likes to find anything to get you as much back as possible. So I'm bringing in the special form I get from all the property loss during the flood to hopefully claim a little more. But the real treat is that I'll be getting enough back before that to pay the Cougar off. Man, never has ~$800 felt so far away.

So that really leaves the only debt I have is the computer loan. And with the extra $150/mo in my pocket from not having a car payment I'll make quick work of that.

I think once that stuff is straightened out I may start a hobby come summer that involves 3 liters. :) I'm in no rush to finish so it'll be a great learning experience. Plus I'll be at 90k miles on the Cougar come Summer too.

hey mang, you need to contact tim (tr0nic) regarding a job. there is this company down on Newbury st in boston that is looking for flash developers. i was at the bar next to my store fri night with tim and i ran into one of my dad's oldest customers. he has been coming to us since the beginning 26 years ago. anyway, we were talking and we found out he is a structual engineer for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, but, basically things led into his wife's company needing someone to develop some flash crap. he asked if we knew anyone and tim and i both thought of you. he gave us his e-mail address and you should pm or call tim for it. i remember most of the address except for one letter

Hopefully in another 6mo they do the profit reevaluation and said if it's good they would hand out a little more.
