Road Tales: Got Smashed *Updated w/Pics

A few hours ago .. just going down Route 300 today with a buddy of mine coming back from the Nextel store.. crusing at around 50 (speed limit 45) and some asshole makes a left right in front of me and my whole front/passenger end gets destroyed.. We're both perfectly fine (THANK GOD)
*Note to self: '93 Ford Trucks Brakes SUCK, and I will be upgrading mine ASAP!
Parts that definetly need to be replaced

1) Both Airbags
2) Front Passenger Quarter Panel (Fender)
3) Front Bumper
4) Hood
5) Passenger Door
6) Front Passenger Wheel/Tire
- After the quarter panel in the front peeled back there was some SERIOUS damage to where it was.. not too sure about that
- Sorry I couldnt get pictures everyone, it was very dark out and my phone doesnt have a flash, I will get some tomorrow when im at the shop

- For those of you that might know, how much do you think the parts & labor is.. I'll find out monday but I would like to go in with some knowledge..

friday the 13th pavement was wet I ripped a camaro outta the hole at a stoplight and stayed ahead.. I feel good:)

He has a 01 Cougar and got hit by a 93 Ford Truck. Reread the post and you'll get it. That sounds like alot of damage, man. How many miles on the car? I wouldn't be surprised if the totaled it. But, look on the bright side, now you can get an MTX.:shrug:

Holy crap man, at least you're alright! From the sound of it, theres a good chance it could get totalled. In which case, find an MTX! You don;t know what youre missing!!

Once you get some pix, it may be easier to judge the severity of the damage.

Thanks everyone, It might be totaled.. Hopefully not, because the bank probably isnt going to give me what the car is worth which would put me in a big hole.. but hopefully it is repairable in which it will be aftermarket heaven for my car :)

Car had around 48k Miles, so its worth about $8000-$9000.. The damage will probably total a couple thousand under that, Ill keep everyone posted though.

That looks like a fair amount of damage, I would bet that there is more then just cosmetic damage. Be prepared for it to get totaled.

Have it totaled, and get a MTX cougar. If you have to, drop that motor in it. I wish I would have gotten a MTX, but ive gone too far with mine so far...

If I get it totaled the money goes towards the loan.. which will probably just pay it off.. then im back to sqaure 1 with no car

by the looks of your car i would guess the repair damage to be around $2500+. im only saying this because i was in a wreck a couple weeks back and it was pretty much the same area...only my right tire got ripped out of the tranny. If there is only cosmetic damage i wouldnt be to worried, but as nad said...be prepared for totalled
