Hey there folks,
I've lurked on this forum since I got my car, but other than buying a spoiler and asking some gas mileage questions I’ve never really interacted, well until now that is. Anyhow I’ve got a bunch of little issues and questions for you guys.
01 manual cougar with just over 68k miles.
My Coolant idiot light stays on when I turn on the car. If I restart the car it will go off. I have plenty of coolant. I'm guessing the sender needs replacing. How tough/expensive is that?
The light behind my clock has gone out, so it’s tough to see at night-how tough is that to replace?
It feels like I need new shocks, especially the back. Granted the Cougar never did like turning while going over bumps, but now the bumps are really coming through. How much for new shocks? Anyone got any stock ones lying around?
I’d also like to give it a tune-up myself, but don’t know how to gap the plugs and get the old ones out. My gas mileage has decreased lately and it doesn’t seem to coast as well as it used to.
Well thanks for any and all advice!
