Grinding when going into 3rd

grinds and sometimes sticks when i shift into 3rd gear. i called some places they said it may be the slave cylinder but dont kno for sure. any help. could it also be the clutch

grinding when going into a gear means that your synchros are worn. if a shop is telling you that it could be anything else...dont go there:ugh:
