Hard Starting

My wifes car is really pissing me off. It has trouble with a hard starting issue, but not all the time, if you hold the gas pedal down a little it will start right up, if you let off of it , it will stall out. but it only does this some times, after the car warms up it runs great. and it only does this after it sits a couple of hours. I have always worked on mustangs, so this cougar is throwing me for a loop.

it was the IAC, went to autozone, paid 39.99 for a new and the car now starts and runs perfect.

Which motor and where did you get the part?

It's the 2.5 Duratech V6, I got the part from Advanced Auto. they had 2 diff parts, one was $39.99 the other was $59.99. I asked what was the diff in the two part. just who makes it.
