No offense, but don't you think blaming the ex is jumping to conlusions a little? I mean, if it's been a while since you broke up, it seems kinda like a stretch, even if she is a crazy broad.
On the other hand, if I'm getting back at someone I can be very patient and wait until everything is in place, but I'm a pretty evil bastid.

Hey man, that sucks, but don't worry about showing up at the meet with a dent. My cars is going to be the worst. My front bumper is completly cracked and tied onto the fender with a piece of wire.

Your insurance should be taking care of that for you, at least. Its vandalism and therefor covered under your comprehensive coverage... you can take advantage of it and your rates cannot be raised because of it. Usually comprehensive has a much lower deductible than collisiion. Mine's $100.
And don't worry about needing to show up at the meet with a perfect cougar. Its January, and several people I'm sure have taken their body kits off and changed back to stock rims for the winter. And my car isn't perfect either... I've got a huge dent/scratch in it, but I don't think anyone has ever noticed.

I'm missing half my Roush front. Well, I know exactly where it is, but it's sitting on a stack of tires in my living room.

yea but u see, i have a $500 deductible..... and i def dont have 500 to drop on nething right now... im just gonna wait and get some z3's and have my buddy paint them, and i only have to pay for materials, but becasue it is a tri-coat paint it might be more expenisive... idk and idc just as long as everything is ready for summer!

Are you ssuuurrreee you have a $500 deductible on comprehensive? Everyone has their collision deductible memorized by heart, and most people's collision deductible is about $500... but I've seen so many people not make a comprehensive claim because they thought their deductible was $500 and didn't want to spend the money... but later found out they either didn't have a comprehensive deductible at all, or it was cheap like $50 to $100.
Look into it to be sure... if you are sure you have a $500 deductible on both your collision and your comprehensive... then oh well, I tried.

hmm u know idk? i just always thought that a deductible was a deductible, never knew there was different ones....i'll have to ask my parents about it.. lol all i do is give them money to pay for my insurance lol.. but yea i will def. have to make sure... but if it is gonna jack up my premium, then i would rather just live with it and eventually get z3's ya know?

Comprehensive claims cannot increase your premiums. A comprehensive claim is something that wasn't your fault or an act of God. Vandalism, theft, rock chips in windshield, tree falling on it, etc.
So yeah, go check with your parents... but it should be on your insurance card too. If your comprehensive decutible is low enough, call your agent and say you want to make a comprehensive claim (not collision), and verify that aren't increasing your premium over it.
I hate insurance. I pay hundreds of dollars a year and get nothing in return... so when I get a chance to take advantage of it, I do.
