Sorry for the crappy cellphone pic.

When installing the engine last night, evidently this one wire came awry and sheared off the connector. It has three wires, and comes off of the main wiring harness just underneath the brake master cylinder. It isn't like other connectors in that it's the only one (not two or three that eminate from the same spot), and is ~8-10 inches long.

So far, I've determined that it's not the speed sensor or the knock sensor.

Any ideas what it connects to???

Not the DPFE either; that's currently attached.

You know, that almost looks like a lower O2 sensor harness... There are four wires whose contacts arranged in a square pattern, right? The connector looks like it's coming from underneath...

Yes it does look like am O2 sensor plug. Since that one is near the rear i would have to say it belongs on the back wiring harness and gets plugged in to the rear bank O2 sensor.

There are only three wires in the bundle, not four.

Vehicle Speed Sensor. There is a black plastic unit that sits on the transaxle, right above where the passenger side half-axle (the jackshaft part) connects to the transaxle. Hope it didn't shear out of the sensor itself...

That would suck the heinie. The wires are attached to a sticky piece of white plastic, which indicates to me that it is teh fuxored.
