Hey guys...
so.. somehow my lumbar support in my drivers seat has stopped working.. i didn't do a thing to it, atleast not to my knowledge. One day it worked... then i parked the car... then it didnt
Its the 6 way power seat... needless to say, I'd really like to know WHY such a thing would happen.

Also, while I'm at it... I mentioned awhile back that my car was making a strange grinding noise when i release the clutch to back up... now the car is making a similar noise when I am traveling at high speed and turn the wheel slightly to the left... almost like something is rubbing. I've looked under the car and nothing seems to be off or out of order. It only happens to the left and it only happens when I am travelling over 80km/h. If i am travelling over 130 its so bad that the car vibrates....

as mentioned in another post... my car and I aren't talking...

*grumbles*

My lumbar is broken too...feels like a pencil poking me in the back.
Thats why I now use a Obus Form back rest.

It only happens to the left and it only happens when I am travelling over 80km/h. If i am travelling over 130 its so bad that the car vibrates....

Mine did that and it was a wheel bearing.

the grinding or rubbbing may be ur right bearing..i had it happen to me...it only happens wen u put the steering wheel in that one possition......if it gets worse and more comment in more positions then it problably is the bearing...

it was around $500 to get fixed at my local dealership and took around 2hrs...but at another ford dealership they quoted me $700 and 4 1/2 hrs

alright, thanks guys, I'll get my bearings looked at. I know that I've already had atleast one replaced, so thats a bit annoying

as for the lumbar support, just as quickly as it stopped working 3 months ago, yesterday it suddenly started working again....
