new to the forum, and cougars in general

Hi, my name's Shelby, I'm 19 years old, and I just bought my first Cougar. I am picking it up from the dealership tomorrow, but I figured I'd go ahead and post up here and get a feel for the people. I am the proud new owner of a fully loaded 2002 Cougar XR, and the test drive was amazing. I love it!! I have been looking around at the site, and learning a lot about these cars. It's very fascinating, I have been into the "sport compact" scene that I suppose was due to the movie F&F coming out when I was an impressionable 15 year old. :P So I'm not new to modifying cars, just Cougars.

My previous cars have been: 1997 Dodge Neon DOHC, 1994 Honda Civic DX, 1996 Dodge Neon SOHC. I personally think I made a good choice with a Cougar.

A friend of mine had a 1998 Contour SVT, and I really liked driving it. I hope the Cougar experience is just as pleasant for me. I'll post up pics tomorrow!

funny thing, is that he totalled it and my other friend tried to buy it back because he's building a 3.0 for something (he has no shell for it yet LOL). I dunno if he's on this forum or not, his name's Fred, and he lives in Lansing.
