The combo tape/cd player in my '00 cougar goes through these fits where, it will cycle between the radio, cd player, and tape deck for no apparent reason. It will do it right in the middle of playing a cd or when the radio is on(I have xm ran throught it). It is really irratating, Does anyoe have any idea what it could be?? I pulled it out and checked connections on radio and all were good, maybe I should just suck it up and get a new head unit!!:banghead:
