I am looking to turn my ashtray area into a series of switches for misc items in the car doesn anyone know how to set something up to use that area for switches?

buy a sheet of ABS plastic and cut it to fit... you probably have to modify the area a bit otherwise go the route I did with turning the CD pocket on a Metra kit into a custom switch panel, if you ditch the 2 Cougar Heads you could get about 5-6 switches on there easily and it would be alot easier as well..
