HOLY $h!t !!!!!
$6,000 for a 2.3L Stroker making 170FWHP? That's cool and stuff to have a
strong engine to build on but damn why's it so expensive?

I thought the engine I was looking at was expensive.
Built By SHM
466ci Stroker putting down 550HP and 545TQ for $5,500.00
You are running a LSD right? Man 400 for rear disc conversion?
I got mine from Aaron for $25.00 hahaha
That's crazy dude I hope it turns out perfect for you cause that's
alot of money. Good Luck mang!

Its so expecnsive since all the internals are billet, and it just came available to the market,Hes' also doing all the Machine work to the engine (boreing and PNP, balancing and such) its only 170 whp beacuse of the 9.1-1 compression for boost, with 10 psi of boost, ill be at 300 WHP, no i dont have an LSD yet, there in the process of being made, if they dont come out, ill be swaping in the focus tranny to run their LSD , but then ill need custom axels and such, aloso i forot about the the Custom Oil pump work and work to the oil galleys in the block to flow more oil, this engine that im getting Will be able to handle 800 HP no problem, 6000 is also including shipping (200$) but this engine will be able to be bolted in and ready to go, everything will be brand new on this engine.

its not putting mein the hole to bad but it will be a monster for Cougar fest 2006

and this year, it will be there fo' sho

Damn.. couldn't you have dropped in a 3L for cheaper? I'm sure there wouldn't be too much fabbing. I know I've seen 2.5's in the Zx2's before, there's no reason a 3.0 wouldn't fit.

You talking about a 3L Duratec? Um...you do realize he doesn't own a cougar...right? I'm confused and my head is spinning...

I'm contimplating dropping my 460ci into a Cougar as we speak.
I've seen 5.0's and 351ci's in Ford Focus's before, I know a 2.5L
could be made to fit. Have you seen the video of the Focus with the
built 351M in it? (Same engine I have in my truck) It's sick he destroys
and M3 without trying.

Actually I've seen a Focus with a 2.5L SVT in it so I know a Escort
could fit it.

800FWHP in an escort is hilarious though...not because it's an Escort
but because it's so light weight and front wheel drive. You would need
slicks so wide you wouldn't be able to turn of have front struts.

Zx2's have put in 2.5L Duratech's before, yes, our v6 cougar motor. No. I'm not crazy. I'll find a pic. It's prolly not cost effective though, I guess a focus motor would be easier. Wasn't there also a video of a focus w/ our 2.5 in it?

800 fwhp is what the engine is capable of handleing, not that im gonna push that much, ive decdied i dont want to wait 2.5 months for the stroker so im just gonna have a 2.0 build and shipped for 4300 $, The focus engine and mine are identical below the heads, smae internals and such just heads are diffent, and im sending my spare head down to cut the cost a bit, sooo the 2.0 built will handle 500 FWHP and ill be pushing probably 300 street, and 400 track....pending on tract ETs if i have to get a roll cage...sighs.... sooo here i come 2.0 even though id like that stroker becuse i would be the only kool kid with it lol

Usually anything below 13.99 you are required to were a helmet.
I think a full 5 point cage is at like 12.00 I might be wrong though
since I've never needed to know this rule.
