Hi,

I think i am a little bit in photoshop, i also did the 2006 calendar of euro neco...
But i have one question. could anybody tell me how you change the color of a car? i mean do you paint it all over new? There must be a better way, or not?

You dont need to tell me the stuff exactly. I just need the idea.

That is a great site with a ton of great info.

There is a (sometimes) easier way to change the color if you are using version CS2.

Click on the paintbrush, and choose the bottom option 'color replacement tool'. Select the color you want to change, and start painting. You may need to play with the parameters a little bit to get it right...I recommend doing it on a duplicate layer, because you still might need to trim some things.

yep!, the color match brush is pretty nifty, for sure :)

I've been just selecting the car with the lasso tool and then desaturating it, then doing the color work.

there are tons of websites with photoshop tutorials that will teach you how to do many different things with photoshop, some of the websites are even strictly for cars, like color changing, rim swapping, ect...
