I see that a lot of people want to put F/I on their ATX so I figured I would start a thread asking what the advantages and disadvantages of each F/I would be. If you get bored throw in some info.

so far the best form of f/i on an auto that ive seen, is nemesis's car. he's been running a pretty good shot of nitrous for awhile and hasnt mention any problems.

Actually, currently nitrous is the only form of FI available for the ATX cougar. There is a couple of different projects going on right now that might make that all different in the future.

Ran a 15.2 this past summer totally untuned on my 75 shot zex. I really don't care if I blow the engine, so why waste my money on tuning?

Search man. There are tons of threads about this.

I ran a 14.4 @ 98mph on 18s with street tires. I didnt go as far as actually buying drag radials and seeing if I could get lower, but maybe someone else can.

Here is a video of the 14.6 run, my 14.4 run nobody was there to tape it. But you get the point.

But yeah, just search for the keyword nitrous, and start reading. You wont get nearly as much info in this thread than you could with a little time and searching. Nitrous is the way to go. Its the cheapest and most HP for the money in terms of Forced Induction for ANY car.

Ive been running nitrous for a while, but there is one difference in my setup. Im monitoring my true Air/Fuel ratios constantly, and it has been tuned.

Nemsis does that mean you have dropped the plans to produce that S/C kit.

I think those died a quiet, painful death a long time ago.
