Oh boy, fresh meat, let the leg humping begin . . .

Welcome to the forums. Be prepared to be molested. Don't mind the leghumpers, just put on some waders (HA! Had to dust that one off, it's been too long) while you wander around. Where are you from? You should drop by your local chapter if you haven't already.

I wonder how many people have been scared off in their own welcome threads?

You two poons do realize that isn't the best way to welcome new members here, don't you???

Welcome Mandy. Ignore those two, please. They don't have the opportunity to talk to many girls, so you can imagine their social skills when one joins here :)

The humming noise could be a typical problem called "moosing", caused by the IACV sensor. Click the search button and type in IACV and read some of the threads that come up.

Good luck!

Welcome Aboard Mandy.... dont mind the leg humpers.

As for your problem, the other guys are right IF its this humming noise at idle when its still warming up, thats the IAVC...does it go away after maybe 30 minutes of driving? did it only come on with the cold weather?

Geez, she's been scared off and I haven't even said anything yet!

Welcome to the boards, we always welcome new members! Don't mind those "leg humping" dweebs, they just have nothing better to do with their time. Nice car, good choice on the MTX (Manual Transaxle if you didn't already know). If thats your pic in the avatar, looks like a 99 Sport package (16" wheels and spoiler are the giveaway).

Check out your local chapter and meet some of your fellow NECO'ers.

It slows to an acceptable pace. Just tell them you are going to stick your foot in their ass a couple of times. They get the hint. Then again there is George who likes that sort of thing.

Nah, roll up a fuel truck and give the driver a cig. ;)

rbls4ever
01-06-2006, 04:36 PM
that dont work, watch mythbusters sometime bud. it jsut goes out everytime. the gas needs to be spread and the "fumes" need to be ignited

XplosivePlushToy
01-06-2006, 05:43 PM
Exactly. Gasoline itself doesnt explode, its the fumes that do. That is why the military tries to keep its fuel tanks and trucks full, they wont explode as easily. And if you're going to go that far josh, why not just hire a somalian firing squad or something?
