OK guys, we need your help. The southern event is all taken care of but the northern Michigan event needs some help. I am working on getting a private rental in the morning from 9am-12noon, then we have to share in the afternoon, no way around that unless we have the race on a Friday or Monday. They are always booked on the weekend with thier regular points series events. Sharing the track in not a great option as we saw last year, 1.5 hour wait times between heats, no fun. If we have the morning private rental that gives us 3 hours to get our qualifying ruuns in and start eliminations, so in the afternoon we would only have a few elinimations left or maybe even just the finals and semi's, so 1.5 hour wait time is not bad, its good for cool down time.
The problem is that the private rental is not cheap. For and estimate of 30 cars its about $1000 US for the 3 hours, maybe a little more but thats a rough estimate. I figure if we can get people to donate $10-25 we will have our private rental in no time. If you plan on attending then we can put that money towards your entry fee like pre-registration. If your not attending then consider it your way of helping the V6 cause. This also helps us know who is coming, a lot of people say they will come but then on race day don't show up, so forking out the money for a private rental and not have people show up is costly, this way we will have the money and if you come it goes towards your entry fee, if you don't come at least we won't be left hanging for a huge bill with no cars to race.
