This year we are having 2 events. A southern event in Georgia and a northern event once again in Michigan. The Southern event will be held at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Cecil, Ga on Sunday March 26th 2006 from 9-3pm. The northern event will again be held at Milan Dragway in Milan Michigan sometime in late summer, around the beginning of September, the date is not nailed down as of yet. Visit www.v6fordchallenge.com for race details. This is the 5th year forthe northern event and the 2nd year for a southern event. Help support the V6 cause. SHO's have won 2 of the northern events in the past.

ok guys less then 3 weeks till the Southern event, ,MMFF is suppose to be covering it again so come out and maybe get in the mag. Also pre pay for registration before this friday and its only $25 to race, can't beat that for a private rental, lots of runs to get in. Even after friday its still only a few bucks more to race, but pre-register this week and save. Hotel discounted price ends this friday as well. Come out and support the Cougars. Hope to see you there.

On a side note the northern event is not going to be at Milan Dragway this year, it will be held at TMP motorsports Park in cayuga, Ontario, Canada in conjunction with the J&P Shootout, a HUGE event, with both major Mustang Magazines covering it.

cool, we need some cougars to represent, we didn't have any cougars show up in Georgia, and that race is suppose to be in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords magazine, we sent in the article, and they are suppose to print it.

Even If I don't manage to put in a 3L by then I'm still gonna go stock(almost) and support this event!!!! and LEARN! (oh and have fun :) )
EDIT: Nevermind I'm blind as a BAT!!!

if you look on the J&P Reunion flyer there is the V6FC logo on there, probably not on the website or nothing but its on the flyer, about half way down on the far right side of the front side of the flyer.

I can't wait for August for the Cayuga event....
Anyone here planning to go I'd love to park with a bunch of cougars... LOL
I'm still stock now but I still need a few more fridays at Cayuga to get baseline numbers before I mod. But I will more than likely be ready with a 2.5 all motor cougar. What kind of classes do they have. Like fastest cougar/mustang/probe ? Just curious... and anxious....

For this year we are only have one bracket class, since we are combining our event with the JPShoout Reunion. We usually have 3 classes, one for heads up racing, one Power Adder bracket and one NA bracket class. There will be awards for different things though like best reaction time, best ET fastest NA car, fastest PA car, etc etc.

Hm, how far of a drive is that from Detroit, Dan? If its not too far I might try and make the trek up there -- I need a few more events to show off the new toys this year, otherwise the sponsors are gonna get pissed. :P
