Hey guys, just out of curiosity how is your fuel efficiency. I know it depends on how you drive and all, but with my daily driving I'm getting about 24 to 25 mpg. You can look me up in the 3.0 listing to see my setup. What are you guys getting?

Typically the 3.0's will get higher mileage because they are "newer" engines. We rebuild them, and use alot of new parts so the mileage is much better than a stock 2.5.

Slurpees 3L was getting better milage that my stock 2.5 and his is completely untuned and not runing well on its ADC chip... runing really rich currently... makes me wonder how hes getting better milage but he is.

I get about 23mpg in mixed driving; mostly city. I live at the redline and am at WOT quite a lot.
The ratings of the 3L would be about 21/29 or about what the stock 2.5L is EPA rated at. I have over 100 more HP then the stock 2.5L though.
Jeez- I'm sitting at about 27MPG on the highway in my engine... Of course, you can watch the fuel gauge drop if you get on the boost... But that goes with any motor like this. Less than 10 if I've really got a case of leadfoot-itis.

Hahaha! Too right! I'm actually only getting about 25-26mpg highway...unless I boost.
In the city I'm getting a solid 16-17mpg now...YAY!!
With my old ADC chip I would get 12-13mpg city :goofy: , 24-26 highway! :banghead: Wow I used to get gas every two days.
I get about the same highway miles now, but a whopping 3-4 mpg increase since I started doing my own tuning.
BTW Dan, you may get a tad better highway mileage than me because your turbine is sized a tad smaller than mine, making it more efficient at lower rpm and therefore reducing intake drag...yada yada yada.
Obviously you still make good power, so perhaps for those not after ultra big numbers a turbine sized like yours may actually be better?

The 3L Hybrid "DanG's fist 3L" gets around 24 mpg (calculated) with a combined city/highway driving. I visit the upper rpms at least 2-4 times a drive.
