how much dyno time would this take approximately?
does it even have to be dyno tuned?
and on a side note....how much of a royal PITA is it to change the flywheel to an aluminum one?

i think the only way to get it adjusted just right would be to have aftermarket gears, and some dyno time.

err that is what i meant...i have one on order i just want to know how long it is going to take on the bench to tune her...$100/hr isnt really worth it for too long if you know what i mean...

if you can find a good shop that has a dyno and know what they are doing, i dont think it would take long. zxtuner.com had a really good deal on cam gears. im gonna wait to get all of my parts gathered before i hit a dyno cause like you said $100+ an hour gets expensive quick.

i will be getting cams eventually...right now just the gear though...
i also just bought an Unorthodox Ultra S crank pully and i was wonderinf if anyone knows how big a can of worms i am opening trying to do that myself?
will i have to use and impact gun to get the existing pully off? or is this something that can be done with a wrench and BFB? (Big F**king Bar)
man i sure hop i dont have to drop the engine or anything to get this on....

it can definately be tuned in an hour. I think its worth it, nice powerband and up to 5whp more.

you also have a bit more done that he does though? prolly what accounted for the 5whp. didn't you get that when you had the header?

I got mine tuned when i had intake, exhaust and header. Its a pretty standard gain on zetecs though.

i have some some headers, intake and exhaust waiting for me and the summer...would i have to tune it or did u just tune it to make it more efficient?..or do u just mean u had it dyno'd?....

you wont need to tune your setup at all...the tune can only be done with after market chip...not your factory ecu...and those mods like mine dot require a dyno or AM chip...YET..hehe
my initial question was wether or not i should tune the cam gear after i put it on. (since it is adjustable) i was sure if i could just bolt it on and go or not..
