okay, i put the disk on the right way, put the tool in all the way, put the PP on and centeredit to the best my eye could do. i had my friend hold it still and watch it while i fingered on the bolts. then i tightened them down to OE ford spec.

how does it look?

Looks good, just as long as you didn't put the clutch disc on backwards (raised side should be facing the PP, flat side towards the flywheel).

There should have been an alignment tool with the SPEC clutch- You used it, right?

WAIT! I don't see the aluminum backing plate behind the flywell that goes between the bellhousing and the block. Where is it?
If you don't have it you will have holes leading directly to your bellhousing where foreign objects can get in and lock up or mess up your pressure plate/clutch/flywheel assy, or the starter bendix.

Yeah Tom's right. You forgot to put your metal gasket on. I've done that before but I caught it after I finished putting the pressure plate on. What a pain in the arse to do all that over again expecially when you use loctite on all the bolts.

D'oh- Missed that one.

Yup, you gotta take it off and do it again. Where the @$()*&#@$ are your shop manuals??!! You need to follow them!

I'd think it would be okay, but I've forgotten initially and just unbolted it all again. Sucks though I have an air impact.
