i know where the dipstick for the tranny fluid is but is that where i add fluid if i need to?

I don't have a ATX but normal yes thats where you can. Goes to the same place right :)

Be careful and don't overfill the atx.. Take a look at your owners manual for proper procedure to check the fluid level before trying to add fluid.
