svt_ anyone put a svt focus motor? is the wireing the same? What are the difference? From my knowlodge.. the pistons are different but is the head? compression is high 10, 2 1 ? just curious?

Block is similar. Head is different as are the pistons and rods. Rods were beefed( not forged ) a little and pistons use different rings and have a bump in compression. I do not know anyone who has installed a svt motor. For what you would spend for everything, forced induction would be more feasible.

Not the same pistons at all. Anything located in head is completely different, also svt block has piston oil squirters built in.
