looking for a supercharger

I have a 2001 cougar 2.5l stock with the exception of a catback exhaust...I am looking to supercharged it when i get home on leave from iraq...I am in the army...can anyone help me out with information on where i can go to get a kit for my cougar....you can e-mail me or just post on here....william.bryan.christison@us.army.mil....th ank you for any information

first of all prepare to get flamed by some members on this forums. this question has been asked over and over again. Vortec makes a super charger for our car but you will have to buy a tuning program for you ecu. Arizona dyno chip make a turbo for our car that comes with everthing that you will need to run it, even headers. so if you can fork over the cash get the turbo because for the money and what you get in the get is great. from what i hear. I dont own either but have done some reaserch. Good luck on getting one.

i understand that this is a drawn out topic...i just need a web site or something in a more pointed out direction...vortech supercharger kit for our car is not a real good one to go with i read on another forum... i also went to their web site and they dont even list it.

yea I know what you mean you have to do a search for the kit or just call them about it. The turbo kit is a www.arizonadynochip.com as for vortec do a search on here and you should come up with something...
