Well, got rid of the ACR today, and was officially the proud new owner of an 06 STi as of 3pm. The add ons were the short throw shifter, and the auto-dimming rear view mirror w/compass. I got the car for invoice, and couldent be happier!! the car is a night and day difference comapired to the SRT. Soo much more solid, far better materials, amazing handling, and the power is just awsome, although I havent had it over 1/4 throttle or so yet... only 120 miles.

nice buy chris. Try not to blow this one up. Welcome to A Stock, home of the Sti and S2000. Theres a guy in my region that runs an Sti. I beat him half the races last season. We were always within 1 sec or so of each other

Love it... can't wait for a ride!

I think Jimmy still might have his WW side skirts already paint that color that he never sold ;)

BTW -- I think I like the new front end... Congrats on the purchase!

Thanks! :) the new front end looks so much better in person then in most pictures I have seen. My favorite part about the new front end is the headlights ROCK!!! I love being able to adjust the low beams as I drive along, although I dont know if that was an 04-05 feature as well.

Ill be up in the Madison area probably farily soon again. You working this next week Crispy?

I think Im going to do a few mods and go play in STU. It looks like the STi is a bit more competitive over there, and I think I read on SCCAForums that it might/will be a national class in 07? which is about when Im going to consiter driving one of my own cars at an event. Im aprehensive about beating on the new car right now, haha.. then again, give me a week or 2 and we will see how I feel.

Just bought some winter rims and tires today. Wheels are Rota Boosts and got some Hankook winter tires :)

I really want to drop the cash for the Spec-C front lip. Soooo tempting as long as Im in a spending mood (which rarely happens). Its kinda, well actually really expensive, but it looks so cool. Then again I should probably save my $......

it's like $600 for a 'working' lip isn't it? OUCH. yeah... i think those boosts will fit my forester noooo prob. ;) thanks for the christmas present.

drop some cash for the HKS kansai rear diffuser. that thing is sweeeeeeeeeeeet!

Yah, most prices are around $600. Rallysportdirect had them for $500 I think, and they were the cheapest I had found. Im still trying to find mirrors (if there are any) that resemble the current style they use on the WRC car. That would be another sweet part.

Hey no problem on the rims, im sure they will fit right up for you! hehehe
