i was commin back from kitchener today and traveling along highway 9 and the weather was perfect...then suddenly the roads turn to $hit...i was trying to drive through snow drifts that were higher then my front end while being pulled left and right from the slush trenchs......i ended up spinning out twice....once to avoid hitting an on comming car that swerved out of control and crossed my lane (and ending up in the ditch on my side), and then wen i got stuck in a rut of slush and the suction from a transport pulled me into the oncoming traffic and then perpindicular to the road......luckily i had enough time to correct and not get hit....the whole time i was going 50km/hr....
the drive from kitchener to walkerton normally takes me 1hr1/2 normal driving...it took me almost 3 hrs the whole time dealing with similar conditions

 Wow, that sounds like a hell of a ride, i had a similar experience coming home on night on the 400 a couple weeks ago. My car wouldn't stop doing fishtails for about 30 seconds, then i spun out and ended up face first on the shoulder lane. I took a moment, turned my car around and kept on going. Same road conditions as you mentioned, and same speed. I was lucky i didnt hit any cars, considering i was swirving through the 2 right lanes, and in mid-traffic.
Did you stick around to help the person who ended up in the ditch?

Pssh! Thats nothing! I was caught in a freak lake effect storm driving to NY through Kingston. It was the year when Buffalo got like 5 feet of snow in one week. I literally couldn't see past my hood. I just followed the glow of the transport trucks tail lights in front of me. If he was in the ditch I was going in with him. I didn't want to stop because someone would of just ran into the back off me. Scariest Drive I ever had!

hahhaa yeah, i know that feeling...
actually on the way down to Cougarfest, I was following John (E1) and we hit maaaaasive rainstorms... rain so thick you couldn't see more than 3 feet infront.
I just kept Johns tailligts in view... I figure that if he went into the ditch with his fancy car, I would at least have some company
