Sunday I was driving to Pottsville, about 10 minutes away and all of a sudden the exhaust sounds really loud. Like obnoxious loud. I took off work the next day to find out what's wrong. I turn the car on, follow the sound, and look under the car. This is what I found....

I took it to Monro and they fixed her up. They said all that happened was the seal just snapped open. Thank God that's all it was. A new catalytic converter costs $400! It cost me $110 to get fixed.

That happened to me too. 3 times actually, because the muffler shop screwed it up the first two times. Mine was to the point of dragging on the ground and the only way I could safely drive the car to the muffler shop was to use a metal coat hangar and secure the cat to the bottom of my car.
