Wow. This officially sucks. I feel like i live at work. I've pretty much been working non stop since saturday, picked up 4 extra hours so my "boss" could leave early so that was a 9 hour day. Sun was 7 hours, Mon was about 8 hours, and today i work another 8 hours. The thing that sucks though, I worked yesterday 4-11pm and now i'm working 8am to 4pm, so it's like i never left. I'm all by my lonesome in the warehouse as well. So don't everyone come in buying a tv all at once, or you'll just have to wait.
I work everyday up till christmas like this, then the day after christmas. Which then i finally have two days off, so gay. I get to drive home, be back here the day after x-mas at 8am. Then i get to go home again... geez. My last winter in retail, thank god. Bachelors degree... here i come.
*Ok. To add a bit. Apparently work is having some stupid charity thing for some needy family that was picked out. Now the stupid lady in charge is acting like i'm some sort of scrooge because i refuse to sign up to buy them something. First off, if your a needy family why would you need stuff from Circuit City? It's cool to have a good x-mas and all but I'm struggling to afford presents for my own family. You'd think it'd be better fitted to buy real *needy* families food, but I guess that's just me. If that makes me an stuck up and arrogant, so be it.

Bachelors degree... here i come.
Sorry to disappoint dood but that just nets more money
and a TON more hours....
I've been working 9-11 hour days for the past three weeks.
I'm just lucky enough to be making what I make and
still be hourly wOOt!
Have a good Christmas and relax for a little bit!

I work 10 hour days everyday and 4 hours on Saturdays. I hate to say it, but welcome to the real world. It sucks and I can't wait for 40 years until I can retire.

It all depends.
I work 9 - 5:30 monday through friday. End of story. No more, no le... well, sometimes less. I'm salaried, so I get the same paycheck regardless.
I'll sometimes RARELY put in a few extra hours if needed, but I've never been here later than 8pm, and NEVER on a weekend or holiday.

It'll be better. Welcome to real life, ha! I've done met it, it slapped me in the face told me to turn around then kicked me in the ass. If you can't dream things get better, there's no point in going on. That's heart attack serious right there. So... they'll get better. I wouldn't mind working the hours, it's just flip-flopping between school/work... sucks.
Have a good christmas though guys/gals!

That's the thing. Trying to go between work and school. I went straight from high school to work so I didn't get to deal with all that. I could probably work less but I'm hourly so less hours = less money :( You on the other hand can at least get a good job at something you'll enjoy doing. Is sucks hard now, but it'll all be worth it.

POINT IS TO ALL YOU LAST MINUTE SHOPPERS...GET OFF YOUR ARS IN JUNE AND START SHOPPING! THEN YOU CAN ENJOY THE HOLIDAY SEASON WITH YOUR FAMILY NOT SHOPPING FOR GIFTS THAT YOU MIGHT NOT FIND!
ARRRRRRRR! LOL This time of year can sometimes suck.
im done now. just the retail jitters! thanks god its over in a few more days!

Man I woke up today and went out with pops to finish off the shopping, and it was amazing. No one at all was out at 11am even. It was totally dead even at the mall, we got there at 9ish and left about 930, then hit circut city at 945ish and left about 10ish, and still NO ONE at all! I was like WTF Im shopping Christmas eve-day every year from now on! Even if my people dont get the gift they so much dreamed of, oh well their loss, not mine :) Im still getting what I want lol! J/K! Although if I wouldve ordered my GF her DVD sets earlier I couldve saved 18 bux for the bar :(

It really wasn't too busy today. Every so often you get a RUSH of people, then they all leave at once, it's really weird how it works out. I work in Polaris, #3572. Best damn store in our district.. w00t. I actually work back in the warehouse(Warehouse Rulz #1, literally) so I don't deal with customers near as much as a salesman, but peoples ignorance just amazes me and it always will. Alright, quick nap, wrap my presents in newspaper or something cuz **** wrapping paper, then 2 hour drive home for a day. This month FLEW by..
